The Maui Mentor Center offers an after school program three days per week (Mentor Mondays and Tutor Tuesdays/Thursdays) that services children who live in the Hale Makana community. Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships for youth in grades 3-8 that ignites their power and promise. Students in the Maui Mentor Center program are able to participate in a variety of activities, such as: academic support through tutoring, life skills lessons, career events, cultural demonstrations, family nights, sports competitions, field trips, and community service. The Mentor Center also partners with other community organizations to coordinate additional support and events throughout each week.

*Matches are currently meeting virtually due to COVID-19. We are enrolling both high school aged and adult volunteers to meet with their Little for 30 minutes each week online. All virtual meetings are supported by our Case Manager.*
